So where have we come from and where are we going?
Those are a couple of pretty big questions. We have lived in Moses Lake, Washington for the last 25 years. Prior to his retirement at the end of 2009, Jim was a family physician. Terry, after an illustrious career as a mom, has been working as an advocate for children of abuse and neglect. Having raised four sons, we are reaping the joys of being grandparents to our four wonderful grandchildren.
Having discovered Mission Doctors Association a few years ago, we found the door to the missions opened to us. In 2004, through MDA we did our first short term mission in Njinikom. In 2007, we found ourselves having the privilege to work along side Dr. Dick and Loretta Stoughton in Zimbabwe. It was then that we first entertained the possibility of doing a long term mission. In a nutshell that is where we have come from.
That brings us to where we are going. Njinikom is in the mountains of Cameroon. Jim will be working at St. Martin de Porres Hospital, a 200 bed hospital/clinic run by the Sisters of St. Francis. Terry is planning to teach at the school run by the same sisters.

Thanks to the generosity of many family and friends a new house is currently under construction for us to call "home".
